Goodbye to the PAST

There comes a time in every person's life when they need to say goodbye to their past life and move on; steadfast, hopeful, and open-minded.  For Ms. Paola Wylett this was indeed such a time.  She had endured a few years too many of an unfulfilling marriage, and had already fully grieved the loss of the life she once had (even though it was not always wonderful).  She was totally ready to face a whole new world and she was eager to start a new chapter.
The funny thing is that even though a situation may be less than fulfilling or ideal, many people cling to it for fear of change.  Somehow, it is more frightening to leave behind what is not so great,  to explore the many things out there in life which could bring you far more joy.  The tough thing is that when you are in those situations, it is sometimes difficult to see that.  The key is not letting it be your crutch for life, because the reality is....LIFE IS TOO SHORT.   But interestingly, those that love themselves truly, take that risk and relinquish a comfortable situation to search for something that may bring them true happiness.  Often times, or perhaps every time I should say, they do in fact find it.  Its funny how that works.  Ms. Paola will find it also, I have no doubt in my mind.  Here are some keys to getting back your splendor, your strength, your swagger, your mojo, your whatever you wish to call it:
1.  Work out, skip dinner, start a new health regime to earn a new body and a new confidence.
2.  Retail Therapy:  Buy shoes, jeans, dresses, tops....whatever makes you feel sexy, hot, ravishing....
3.  Enlist ultra positive friends to pump you up, play wingwoman and indulge in fun nights out, trips, happy hours, and "me-time" whatever shape or form that takes on.
4.  Take risks.  Stop being scared.  Stop fearing rejection.  Stop fearing that you will be lonely, alone forever, or sad.  Be bold.  Why the hell not?
5.  Let go of the past.  Don't hate, Don't be forever bitter....just let it go and think of it as a catapult to your new life and your new happiness and be thankful for that stepping stone in your life.
6.  Fall in love again.  Yep, you can do it.  Just open your heart and let it happen.  Enjoy!
